Upper School
Discover Purpose. Build Confidence. Lead with Faith.
At Cleburne Christian Academy, our Upper School program (grades 6–12) is designed to guide students from exploration to purpose, equipping them to lead lives marked by faith, wisdom, and real-world readiness. Whether your child is just stepping into middle school or preparing for life after graduation, our Christ-centered approach nurtures the whole student—heart, mind, and soul.
Middle School: A Low-Stakes Launchpad for Exploration
In grades 6–8, students experience a supportive, low-pressure environment where they can explore a wide range of academic subjects, creative outlets, and personal interests. Through hands-on learning, group collaboration, and a Gospel-centered classroom culture, they begin to build confidence in who God has created them to be.
-
Students rotate through electives in art, music, robotics, cooking, coding, and more
-
Literature-rich academics connect students to history, science, and diverse perspectives
-
Faculty disciple students in managing peer relationships, emotions, and identity in Christ
As one of the few private Christian middle schools in Johnson County, we create space for students to try new things, ask big questions, and discover how their faith connects with learning.
Early High School: Mentorship, Clarity, and Personal Growth
In grades 9–10, the focus shifts to intentional mentorship and discovery. Through one-on-one advising, culture profile indexing, and interest assessments, students begin to identify their God-given strengths and passions. Our academic program remains rigorous and faith-anchored, preparing them for college while allowing flexibility for personal growth.
-
Core subjects taught through a Biblical worldview: math, science, literature, history, and Bible
-
Leadership development, service opportunities, and collaborative electives
-
Personalized schedules allow students to take ownership of their time and learning style
This is a season of becoming: clarifying calling, refining skill sets, and growing in faith with the support of trusted mentors.
Junior & Senior Year: Purpose in Action
In grades 11–12, students begin translating purpose into practice. Through our Pathways to Purpose model, they step into off-campus internships, dual credit programs, community service, and specialized projects tailored to their future goals. Students gain real-world experience, build strong resumes, and learn to lead with confidence and character.
-
Internship and shadowing opportunities aligned with student interests
